I was introduced to Helen Simpson at Body and Soul Women’s Wellness through a mutual friend over 5 months ago and I haven’t looked back. I train with Helen 3 times a week and it has been so beneficial to my health and well-being. I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 18 years and it mainly affects my knees, ankles and hands. Helen is an amazing trainer and adapts my exercise to ensure that I look after my joints. Each workout is different, targets different muscles and you leave the session feeling fantastic (and also of course exhausted.  Thank you Helen

I love training with Helen at Body and Soul Women’s Wellness! She is an enthusiastic and dedicated trainer. I have been going to her twice a week for small group training for a few months. I love the small group environment (2-3 women max), where she tailors the exercises to each of our individual needs. She motivates me to push myself and brings out the best in me. I have lost weight, toned up and re-discovered my love of exercise. I am feeling the best I have in a long time and its all thanks to Helen! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for some personal or small group training. The location of the sessions are also a huge bonus.

After 12 weeks not 1 injury or niggle. Feeling awesome all over. Would never have thought I could do a normal pushup but managed a few sets of 15 today. Gotta love the positive encouragement Helen gives every step of the way.

I cut out Helen’s “Body and Soul” ad weeks before I actually rang her. I looked at it all the time but thought, “no I can’t do It”. Then one day I decided just do it. I rang and left a message for Helen to call me back. When Helen rang me back she asked me lots of questions to questions that I didn’t want to answer. After our phone call I felt confident to give it a go, I then started my journey with Helen 3 afternoons a week.
At first I didn’t know what to expect but after a couple of sessions I realised Helen is an amazing lady who has the patience of a saint and the stamina of the energizer bunny. I loved the fact that it is in a private environment where I had one on one training. But not to be fooled into thinking that it is easy for as soon as you pass one level of achievement Helen is quick to up the anti to keep you achieving your goals.
For all the sweat, tears and yes there has been tears I am grateful to Helen to putting me back on a very long track to finding myself again.

Working out with Helen at Body Soul Wellness in a small group fitness session makes exercising a pleasure.  The workouts are fun and challenging with great variety in every session.  I am very good at making excuses not to exercise but I always look forward to working out with Helen twice a week. Helen is great at adapting exercises to suit all individuals in a group session taking into consideration the different fitness levels and any pre-existing injuries.  Helen is great at motivation and knows how to push you to go that extra mile.  Her small group fitness sessions offer great workouts with a personal approach. I would thoroughly recommend Helen as a personal trainer to anyone looking to improve their fitness and general well being.
